HOA MEETING BY-LAWS & MD LAW (summary):

• Per MD Law, all meetings of the homeowners association, including REGULAR meetings of the board of directors or other governing body of the HOA or a COMMITTEE of the HOA, shall be open to all members of the HOA or their agents;  All members of the HOA shall be given reasonable notice of all regularly scheduled open meetings of the HOA. 
• Also, closed meetings require a statement of the the time, place, and purpose of a closed meeting, the record of the vote of each board or committee member by which the meeting was closed, and the authoritiy under the section of MD Real Estate Law to close the meeting shall be recorded in the minutes of the next meeting of the board of directors or the committee of the HOA; except as provided in this law, and notwithstanding anything contained in any of the documents of the HOA.

To all:

The Adopt A Pond Meeting was held on 3/14/2004:

Darin is working on getting the originals pond layouts so we can locate the risers.

 Inspections were done on the ponds and all forms submitted.

 Pond 3A - Morse Lane: Ideas discussed

        1) remove phragmites

        2) Plant Button bush and bayberry

        3) put in a bird feeder

        4) options for mosquitoes control

                a) killfish or others by doing a beach scene

                b) bat box

                c) order dragonflies

5) The landscaping plan process will take approximately 3 weeks to get approval - So mid to late April will be the target time for plantings if two volunteers are registered with Darin Crew.

6) The cutting down of the slopes is okay to control the phragmites. Control methods were discussed for the phragmites.

Pond 3 - Todd Point

    1) Flag native bushes /trees already established

    2) clean up inflow area

    3) New plantings

    4) Clean up trash in the pond

   

    5) Bird feeder

   

    6) mosquito control
